Bun

Burger Patties

Method

Prepare the Bun

  1. 1

    Butter the Buns

Spread butter on the cut sides of the brioche buns.

  2. 2

    Toast the Buns

Heat a skillet over medium heat and toast the buttered buns until golden brown. Set aside.

Cook the Patties

  1. 3

    Prepare the Beef

In a bowl, season the ground Angus beef with salt and black pepper. Mix well and form into two equal patties.

  2. 4

    Cook the Patties

Heat a griddle or skillet over medium-high heat. Place the patties on the skillet and smash them down with a spatula for even cooking. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side until they reach your desired doneness.

  3. 5

    Add Onions

During the last minute of cooking, add thinly sliced yellow onions to the skillet to sauté until translucent.

  4. 6

    Melt the Cheese

Top each patty with a slice of Muenster cheese and cover the skillet for 1-2 minutes until the cheese is melted.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 7

    Layer the Ingredients

Spread 1 1/2 tablespoons of Thousand Island dressing on the bottom half of each toasted bun.

  2. 8

    Add the Patties

Place one cheesy patty on each bun base, followed by fried pickle chips and shredded lettuce.

  3. 9

    Complete the Burger

Top with the other half of the toasted brioche bun. Serve immediately.
