Cooking Directions

1

Prepare the Steak

Season the NY Strip Steak with salt and black pepper on both sides.

2

Cook the Steak

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until desired doneness. Remove from heat and let it rest for a few minutes.

3

Slice the Steak

Once rested, slice the steak thinly against the grain.

4

Assemble the Flatbreads

On each flatbread, spread a generous amount of mango BBQ sauce. Layer with sliced steak, provolone cheese, and smoked gouda cheese.

5

Bake the Flatbreads

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and place the assembled flatbreads on a baking sheet. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

6

Garnish and Serve

Remove from the oven, sprinkle with fresh cilantro, slice, and serve warm.
