Enjoy a creamy and refreshing regular-sized strawberry shake made with ripe strawberries and smooth vanilla ice cream.

Dry cayuga grape wine with notes of apricot, citrus and melons from Stone Tree.

Rinse the Cayuga grapes under cold water. Remove stems and any damaged grapes, then mash the grapes in a large bowl to release the juices.

In a separate bowl, measure out the sugar, water, and any other flavoring ingredients like dried apricots, citrus zest, honey, and fresh melon.

In a fermentation vessel, combine the mashed grapes, water, and sugar. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.

Mix the Wine Base

Sprinkle the wine yeast over the surface of the mixture. If using Campden tablets, crush one and add it to the mixture to help prevent unwanted bacteria.

Cover the fermentation vessel with a clean cloth or airlock. Allow the mixture to ferment in a dark, cool place for 1-2 weeks, stirring daily.

After the primary fermentation, add the dried apricots, citrus zest, honey, and fresh melon to the mixture. Stir well.

Add Flavoring Ingredients

Transfer the wine to a secondary fermentation vessel, leaving sediment behind. Seal with an airlock and let it age for 4-6 weeks.

Secondary Fermentation

Once aging is complete, carefully siphon the wine into clean bottles, leaving some space at the top. Seal with caps or corks.

Bottling the Wine

Label your bottles with the date and name. Store the wine in a cool, dark place for at least 3 months before tasting.
