Brewing Instructions
1. Mashing
In a large pot, heat 5 liters of water to 160°F (70°C). Add the malted barley and maintain the temperature for 60 minutes, stirring occasionally.
2. Boiling
After mashing, remove the grains and bring the liquid to a boil. Add the hops and boil for 60 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Cooling
After boiling, quickly cool the wort using a wort chiller or an ice bath to around 70°F (21°C).
4. Fermentation
Transfer the cooled wort to a sanitized fermentation vessel and add the yeast. Seal the vessel and allow it to ferment for 1-2 weeks at room temperature.
5. Bottling
After fermentation is complete, dissolve 0.5 cups of corn sugar in boiling water, cool, and add to the beer. Bottle the beer and cap it. Let it condition for another 1-2 weeks.
